Charles Dotson, owner and operator of Dotson AV, began his career in the audio-visual industry in 2000 with a prestigious company in Dallas. There, he had the privilege of working under top-tier professionals who mentored him. His work included projects in the homes of Dallas/Fort Worth's elite, including local celebrities and professional athletes. During this time, he also expanded his expertise to include security system installations through a sister company.

 

After a brief hiatus for college, Charles returned to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 2006 to work in the field of commercial security and fire alarms. He worked on projects in government buildings in San Antonio, El Paso, and various commercial structures throughout Texas, gaining extensive experience in installing security systems and fire alarms. This further broadened his knowledge base in the low-voltage industry.

 

In 2012, Charles relocated to Tulsa, OK, to collaborate with a friend in the audio-visual industry, once again immersing himself among top-tier professionals in a well-known company. This experience allowed him to further develop his skills and dedication to the field. He honed his expertise in networking, audio, smart home automation, and home theaters.

 

In 2023, drawing on his wealth of knowledge and experience, Charles founded Dotson AV to bring his expertise and passion for technology to create exceptional audiovisual solutions for his clients.
